Newkirk Wallcovering and Painting

Convert your garage into a home office

Before pictures of the garage

Let me back up a bit and give you some before pictures of the interior of the garage. Here is a picture of the east wall of the garage. The former owner had hung a couple cabinets on the garage wall for storage. You'll also notice a shelf, some flourescent lighting and the opener above. Also notice the car parked in the garage.

After photo following demolition of east wall

This is an after shot following demolition of the shelving, cabinets and other junk attached to the east wall of the garage. You'll notice quite a bit of difference and a significant opening up of space following demolition.

Before photo of the garage, south wall

I've provided a pre-demolition photo of the south wall of the garage. Again, we have plenty of shelving to get rid of along with plenty of other junk including numerous nails in the studs, electrical outlets, etc.

After photo of the garage, south wall

Here's a photo of the south wall following a fine demoliton session. The hole to the left of the window may have been an opening for a wood stove pipe. Again, notice the huge amount of space opened up by demo-ing all the crap on the south wall.

North wall, cleaned up

Here's a shot of the north wall after demolition. I had quite a few shelves and plenty of nails to pull out on this one. I'm sure I have a pre-demo photo but I can't find it now. I'll post it when I do.

View to the west

Finally, I've included a view to the west from the back of the garage. These will make for interesting comparison shots once I add the finished product shots later. In the meantime, stay tuned for plenty more garage/home office shots as we have a ways to go in our garage conversion project.
