Here the black is still wet, but the red center stripe was dry enough to pull the tape and get ready for the third color, white! Notice the fan blades have been painted red . . . a nice contrast against a grey ceiling. My neighbor across the street had a great idea for the ceiling fan blades, she suggested I put authentic Buckeye helmet stickers on the ends of the blades. These are the same stickers the players are awarded when they make an outstanding play. Great idea!

Time to move the tape and plug in two coats of the white to finish off the Buckeye helmet stripe.

I usually pull the tape shortly after the paint is applied or wait until it's completely dry. Anytime in between could result in the paint pulling up with the tape. Don't worry if this happens . . . you can always touch up later.

Here is a shot of the scarlet color stopping in the corner and the room starting to take shape with football stuff filling in the blank spaces. Notice the stickers on the Buckeye fan!
